CREATE YOUR OWN RELAXING SPA EXPERIENCE

After working hard, every woman deserves a break. Here's how to create a great relaxing evening for yourself!


1.

Schedule the time you need in your calendar, blackberry or Treo the way you would any other appointment or meeting and declare it to be “IMPORTANT”.

Luxuriate and unwind in your bath for as long as you’d like.

Be sure to send out the notice and let everyone you know, whether you live them or not that you should not be bothered until your appointment time with yourself is over.

To make your bath even more enjoyable try adding a few drops of essential oils. FREE TIP: To leave your skin baby soft, smooth and subtle, combine the juice of 2 lemons, 1 cup of milk, 3 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of olive oils, and some cinnamon, or another spice to add a scent.

Be sure to complete all tasks that were essential for you to complete so that your mind can be free to relax and enjoy yourself.

When you get out, dry off, smooth on some sweet smelling body lotion and change into some comfy clothing.

Leave a message on your phone and/or cell phone indicating that you are off schedule and remove desire to answer it from your mind.

Wash your face with a good cleanser, exfoliate, tone and out on a great face mask. Leave on for about 15-20 mins. Wash off with warm water and apply some moisturizer.

Begin your relaxation process by taking a bath. Before your bath, take a shower to cleanse, wash hair, shave, etc. Baths are meant to relieve tension so do those things first.

Pick out your favorite nail color and give yourself a manicure and/ or pedicure.

6.

Incorporate whatever suits your fancy, glass of wine, favorite book, light some candles, relaxing music.

12.

After your nails are dry, enjoy reading your favorite magazine, good book or do your own writing in your journal for reflection.
